This document is a supplement to the general Kiges Privacy Policy and regulates data processing issues specific to the Kiges Connect service — a platform for creating branded short links, dynamic QR codes, and bio pages.
1. General Provisions
1.1. This document supplements the general Kiges Privacy Policy and applies in conjunction with it. In case of discrepancies between the documents regarding the Kiges Connect service, this document prevails.
1.2. Use of the Kiges Connect service implies the User's consent to the terms of this document and the general Kiges Privacy Policy.
1.3. Terms used in this document are applied in the meanings defined in the general Kiges Privacy Policy and the Public Offer.
2. Data Processed within the Kiges Connect Service
2.1. To ensure the functionality of the Kiges Connect service, the following categories of data are processed:
2.1.1. Account data: email address, password (hashed), User's name, notification settings.
2.1.2. Short link data: original URLs, short URLs, redirect rules (geography, device, campaign), click counts, visitor data (IP address, browser, operating system, geolocation, referrer), date and time of click.
2.1.3. QR campaign data: QR code content, target URLs, redirect rules, scan counts, scanning device data (device type, operating system, geolocation), date and time of scan.
2.1.4. Bio page data: bio page name, placed links, widgets, calls to action (CTA), appearance settings (theme, logo, branded elements), domain name (when using a custom domain), view and click counts.
2.1.5. Payment data: tariff information, payment history, bank card details (processed by the payment system; Kiges Connect does not store full bank card data).
2.2. Kiges Connect does not request or process special categories of personal data (information about health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.).
3. Purposes of Data Processing
3.1. Data is processed for the following purposes:
3.1.1. Creating and managing short links with redirect logic by geography, device, and campaign.
3.1.2. Generating and managing dynamic QR codes with the ability to change the target address.
3.1.3. Creating and managing bio pages with links, widgets, and calls to action.
3.1.4. Collecting analytics and statistics on clicks, scans, and views, generating reports.
3.1.5. Ensuring User authorization and access to service features.
3.1.6. Invoicing and payment processing.
3.1.7. Providing technical support.
4. Short Links and Redirects
4.1. When creating a short link, Kiges Connect stores the original URL and redirect rules specified by the User, including logic by geography, device, and campaign.
4.2. On each click of a short link, Kiges Connect records visitor data (IP address, browser, operating system, geolocation, referrer) for analytics generation and correct redirection.
4.3. The User is responsible for ensuring that the original URLs to which short links redirect do not contain malicious content, phishing pages, or content that violates applicable legislation.
4.4. Kiges Connect is not liable for the content of resources to which short links created by the User redirect.
5. Dynamic QR Codes
5.1. When creating a dynamic QR code, Kiges Connect stores the target URL and redirect rules specified by the User.
5.2. On each scan of a QR code, Kiges Connect records scanning device data (device type, operating system, geolocation) for analytics generation and correct redirection.
5.3. The User is responsible for ensuring that the target URLs to which QR codes redirect do not contain malicious content or content that violates applicable legislation.
5.4. Kiges Connect is not liable for the content of resources to which QR codes created by the User redirect.
6. Bio Pages and Public Data
6.1. Information placed by the User on a bio page is publicly available.
6.2. Kiges Connect is not liable for the content placed by the User on their bio page, including links, widgets, texts, and calls to action.
6.3. The User undertakes not to place information on the bio page that violates applicable legislation, the rights of third parties, or the terms of the Public Offer.
7. Data Storage and Protection
7.1. Click and scan data is stored for the period necessary to generate statistics and reports, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
7.2. Kiges Connect takes technical and organizational measures to protect User data, including encrypting data transmission via HTTPS, restricting employee access to data, and regular backups.
7.3. In the event of a data security breach, Kiges Connect takes measures to eliminate the breach and notifies affected Users within a reasonable time.
8. Data Sharing with Third Parties
8.1. Kiges Connect does not share Users' personal data with third parties, except in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.
8.2. Kiges Connect may use the services of third-party providers (payment systems, email sending services, hosting providers, analytics services) to ensure the operation of the service. Data sharing with such providers is carried out under confidentiality agreements.
8.3. Kiges Connect may share aggregated and anonymized statistical data with third parties for the purpose of analysis and service improvement.
9. User Rights
9.1. The User has the right to:
9.1.1. Request information about the personal data processed by the Kiges Connect service.
9.1.2. Demand clarification, blocking, or destruction of their personal data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unlawfully obtained.
9.1.3. Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data by sending a notification to info@kiges.cc.
9.1.4. Delete their account and all associated data by contacting support.
9.2. Upon account deletion, Kiges Connect deletes the User's data within a reasonable time, except for data that must be stored in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.
10. Data Deletion
10.1. The User can delete their short links, QR campaigns, and bio pages at any time through the service interface.
10.2. When a short link, QR campaign, or bio page is deleted, all associated data, including click and scan analytics, is deleted without the possibility of recovery.
10.3. Kiges Connect reserves the right to delete data of inactive accounts after 12 (twelve) months from the date of the User's last activity.
11. Cookies and Analytics
11.1. Kiges Connect uses cookies to ensure the operation of authorization and remember User settings.
11.2. On Users' bio pages, cookies are used minimally and only to ensure correct page display and collect aggregated analytics.
11.3. Kiges Connect may collect aggregated anonymous statistics on short link clicks and QR code scans to improve the service.
12. Additional Conditions
12.1. Kiges Connect reserves the right to make changes to this document. The User undertakes to independently monitor the current version.
