This document is a supplement to the general Kiges Privacy Policy and regulates data processing issues specific to the Kiges Sites service — a website builder platform for creating, editing, publishing, and hosting websites, located at https://sites.kiges.cc.
1. General Provisions
1.1. This document supplements the general Kiges Privacy Policy and applies in conjunction with it. In case of discrepancies between the documents regarding Kiges Sites, this document prevails.
1.2. Use of the Kiges Sites service implies the User's consent to the terms of this document and the general Kiges Privacy Policy.
1.3. Terms used in this document are applied in the meanings defined in the general Kiges Privacy Policy and the Public Offer.
2. Data Processed within Kiges Sites
2.1. To ensure the functionality of the Kiges Sites service, the following categories of data are processed:
2.1.1. Account data: email address, password (hashed), User's name, notification settings.
2.1.2. Site data: site name, site description, pages, design elements, layout configurations, navigation settings, SEO settings (meta tags, titles, descriptions), custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
2.1.3. Content data: text, images, videos, files, documents, and other materials uploaded and published by the User on their Sites.
2.1.4. Domain data: custom domain names connected by the User, DNS records, SSL certificate information, subdomain assignments.
2.1.5. Site visitor data: IP addresses, browser information, device information, geolocation data, pages visited, visit time, referrer, cookies set by the User's Site.
2.1.6. Analytics data: site traffic statistics, page views, unique visitors, traffic sources, bounce rates, conversion data (if configured by the User).
2.1.7. Payment data: tariff information, payment history, bank card details (processed by the payment provider; Kiges Sites does not store full payment data). From the payment provider, Kiges Sites may receive partial (masked) card data, which is displayed in the "Payment Methods" section of Kiges Pay for the purpose of identifying the User's payment method. Such partial data does not allow a payment to be made and cannot be used for unauthorized debiting of funds.
2.1.8. Technical data: IP address, browser information, access time, cookies, server logs, deployment logs.
2.2. Kiges Sites does not request or process special categories of personal data (information about health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.).
2.3. Kiges Sites does not verify the accuracy of the data provided by Users about themselves and is not responsible for their reliability.
3. Purposes of Data Processing
3.1. Data is processed for the following purposes:
3.1.1. Creating, editing, publishing, and hosting User Sites.
3.1.2. Managing custom domains and SSL certificates.
3.1.3. Displaying Sites to visitors and ensuring Site functionality.
3.1.4. Generating site analytics and traffic statistics.
3.1.5. Ensuring User authorization and access to service features.
3.1.6. Invoicing and payment processing.
3.1.7. Providing technical support.
3.1.8. Preventing abuse, fraud, and violations of the Public Offer.
3.1.9. Sending notifications to the User about service status, Sites, and account.
4. Site Content and Visitor Data
4.1. The User bears SOLE and FULL responsibility for all Content posted on their Sites, including its legality, accuracy, and compliance with the rights of third parties.
4.2. Kiges Sites is not liable for the Content posted by the User on their Sites, including text, images, videos, code, and other materials.
4.3. The User undertakes not to post on their Sites Content that violates applicable legislation, the rights of third parties, or the terms of the Public Offer.
4.4. Site visitor data (IP addresses, browser information, pages visited) is collected for the purpose of providing Site functionality and generating analytics. The User is responsible for complying with data protection legislation (GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent legislation) regarding the collection and processing of visitor data on their Sites.
4.5. Kiges Sites is not responsible for the User's compliance with data protection legislation regarding their Site visitors. The User bears full responsibility for providing privacy notices, obtaining consent, and fulfilling data subject requests from their Site visitors.
4.6. The User is responsible for any cookies set by their Site, including third-party cookies (analytics, advertising, social media). Kiges Sites is not responsible for cookies set by the User or third-party services integrated into the User's Sites.
5. Custom Domains and SSL
5.1. When a User connects a Custom Domain, Kiges Sites processes DNS configuration data and SSL certificate information for the purpose of enabling the Custom Domain functionality.
5.2. Kiges Sites provides SSL certificates through automated certificate provisioning (e.g., Let's Encrypt). SSL certificate data is processed by the certificate authority and Kiges Sites does not store private SSL keys.
5.3. Kiges Sites is not responsible for SSL certificate issuance failures, DNS propagation delays, or issues caused by the User's domain registrar or DNS provider.
5.4. Domain registration data (WHOIS, registrar information) is not processed or stored by Kiges Sites. The User is responsible for maintaining their Custom Domain registration with their domain registrar.
6. Data Storage and Protection
6.1. Site data and Content are stored for the period of use of the Service and for a reasonable period thereafter, except for data that must be stored in accordance with applicable legislation.
6.2. Site visitor data and analytics data are stored for the period necessary to provide the service and generate statistics, after which they are deleted or aggregated.
6.3. Kiges Sites takes technical and organizational measures to protect User data, including encrypting data transmission via HTTPS, restricting employee access to data, and regular backups.
6.4. In the event of a data security breach, Kiges Sites takes measures to eliminate the breach and notifies affected Users within a reasonable time.
6.5. Kiges Sites does not guarantee absolute data security and is not liable for the disclosure of data resulting from circumstances beyond the Contractor's control, including hacker attacks, failures of third-party services, or actions of government authorities.
7. Data Sharing with Third Parties
7.1. Kiges Sites does not share Users' personal data with third parties, except in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.
7.2. Kiges Sites may use the services of third-party providers (payment providers, hosting providers, CDN providers, SSL certificate authorities, analytics services) to ensure the operation of the service. Data sharing with such providers is carried out under confidentiality agreements.
7.3. Kiges Sites may share aggregated and anonymized statistical data with third parties for the purpose of analysis and service improvement.
7.4. Kiges Sites may share User data with authorized state authorities of the Republic of Serbia on the grounds and in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.
7.5. Site Content is publicly accessible to Site visitors by default, as it is published by the User for public viewing. Kiges Sites is not responsible for the public availability of User Content.
8. User Rights
8.1. The User has the right to:
8.1.1. Request information about the personal data processed by Kiges Sites.
8.1.2. Demand clarification, blocking, or destruction of their personal data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unlawfully obtained.
8.1.3. Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data by sending a notification to info@kiges.cc.
8.1.4. Delete their account and all associated data by contacting support.
8.2. Upon account deletion, Kiges Sites deletes the User's data within a reasonable time, except for data that must be stored in accordance with applicable legislation (e.g., transaction data, abuse prevention logs).
8.3. The User is responsible for fulfilling data subject requests (access, deletion, rectification) from their Site visitors, as Kiges Sites processes visitor data on behalf of the User.
9. Data Deletion
9.1. The User can delete their Sites, Content, pages, and analytics data at any time through the service interface.
9.2. When an account is deleted, all associated data, including Sites, Content, domain configurations, and analytics, is deleted without the possibility of recovery, except for data subject to mandatory storage by law.
9.3. Kiges Sites reserves the right to delete data of inactive accounts after 12 (twelve) months from the date of the User's last activity.
9.4. The Contractor is not liable for any losses of the User arising from the deletion of data, including loss of Sites, Content, or analytics.
10. Cookies and Analytics
10.1. Kiges Sites uses cookies to ensure the operation of authorization and remember User settings.
10.2. Kiges Sites may collect aggregated anonymous statistics on service usage to improve the service.
10.3. Disabling cookies may result in the inability to access parts of the service that require authorization.
10.4. Cookies set by User Sites on their visitors' browsers are the responsibility of the User. Kiges Sites is not responsible for cookies set by User Sites or third-party services integrated into User Sites.
11. Additional Conditions
11.1. Kiges Sites reserves the right to make changes to this document. The User undertakes to independently monitor the current version.
